This is where we started

We’re dedicated to creating a quality product, taking the time to craft it to it's highest potential and utilize only pure, organic ingredients. While whiskey is what we originally fell in love with, all of our products have a special place in our heart. Variety and quality are what motivate us.

Everything about Journeyman Distillery is handcrafted, and we like that our home reflects that attention to labor. The original maple factory floors are from the 1800s. We have an original concrete bar that was made in Grand Rapids, with coordinates etched into the side—to mark this historic and unique location. We’re using wood from the family barn in central Indiana; wood that was once the flooring for an early 1900s schoolhouse. We feel that E.K. Warren, the original builder of the factory—while being a staunch prohibitionist—would be proud to see his building shining bright.

Our bottles are like our building: steeped in family history that we’re thrilled to share with you.

Certified Organic & Kosher

Journeyman Distillery is one of few certified organic distilleries in the United States, providing all organic spirits produced without the use of synthetic fertilizers, artificial pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, growth hormones, or genetically modified organisms. Following our commitment to producing the highest quality spirits, we are also kosher certified. Our production facility, ingredients, and distillation practices have been inspected by the leading Rabbi at Kosher Organics to insure the trust of the worldwide kosher community.

"It’s not pump it out as fast as we can, it’s make it the best we can"

Like all great things in life, our products have taken time and earnest work; they come from the simplest, purest ingredients on earth.

Giving Back

We believe it is so important to pour into our communities, and there are many ways to do that. Recently we opened our putting green that is not only affordable, but free for ages 6-12. We have also created a program that businesses can participate in by selling our Silver Cross Whiskey. Where we give 1% of all sales from this whiskey back to various golf charities/organizations to teach kids the game of golf. We also have Islay's Barrel, which is named after Bill & Johanna's daughter. It's mission is to extend summer program opportunities to Southwest Michigan children.
